Preserving & Sharing Kaysville History
The Kaysville – Fruit Heights Museum of History and Art collects documents, photographs and other artifacts that tell the story of community development from early pioneer settlers to the present day. Help us inventory, catalog, interview and photograph.
Volunteers will be trained and asked to assist in some of the following ways:
- Interviewing citizens, recording, and transcribing their oral histories in person or virtually. depending on circumstances.
- Inventory collections by measuring and describing manually on forms.
- Input inventory and other metadata into a simple form, manually or electronically.
- Digitally photograph and/or scan artifacts.
- Process collection items for storage and preserving as instructed.
- Contributing to an online catalog by transferring metadata, and other library cataloging functions.
